Archaeology is the science that recovers and studies the objects and monuments from the distant past. Because there are not written records from Prehistory, Archaeology helps us to learn about that period.

Archaeologists are experts in learning how people lived in the past. They work in archaeological sites to recover the material remains found in different strata from which they will obtain evidences and draw conclusions about the life in the past.
