1.7. GPS devices. What are they useful for?

A GPS navigation device (Global Positioning System) is a device that receives information from several satellites and accurately calculates its geographical position and can locate a point anywhere on the Earth by measuring latitude, longitude and altitude.

Originally this device was developed for use by the Unite States military, but in 1980 the Unite States government allowed the system to be used by civilian purposes. In this context, today most GPS receivers are used in automobiles and recently as well in smartphones, being able to indicate maps, roads, paths, traffic congestion and alternative routes, turn-by-turn navigation direction, tourist attractions...

1- Be imaginative and suggest a new use for this device you think it could be useful for people to improve their lifestyle.
